     The Disability Economic Empowerment Project is an open initiative by people with physical and mobility disabilities, and the Ministry of Health and Social Service (MOHSS), the National Federation of People with Disabilities (NFPDN). With support and donations of bicycles from Bicycles for Humanity in Ontario, Canada, and the Bicycle Empowerment Network, Namibia (BEN), the project sells second hand bicycles, repairs bicycles and provides all kinds of related services and consultations including lay buy and bicycle rental. The project is run by disabled individuals and is located in the Oneshila settlement of Oshakati, Northern Namibia.
